NORMAL
EGG
Eggs are laid by female animals of different species. Many of these eggs have been eaten by humans for thousands of years.
FLOUR
By grinding raw nuts, beans, seeds, roots or grains a fine powder is made which is called flour.
BUTTER
A dairy product that is made from the fat and protein components of milk or cream is called butter.
SUGAR
Sweet- tasting soluble carbohydrates are called sugar. Many of these carbohydrates are used in food.
GRANULATED SUGAR
Granulated sugar is what you would find in every kitchen as table sugar or white sugar. It is composed of glucose and fructose.
SALT
Salt is a mineral. It is composed of sodium chloride (NaCl). In its natural form it is known as rock salt or halite.
BAKING POWDER
A dry chemical leavening agent. It is a mix of bicarbonate or carbonate and a weak acid. Increases volume and lightens textures of baked goods.
BAKING SODA
It is composed of a bicarbonate anion and sodium cation. It is commonly known as baking soda.
MILK
Milk is a very rich fluid in nutrients, that is produced in mammary glands of animals. It is extracted from farm animals.
CHOCOLATE
Chocolate is prepared by roasting ground cacao seeds. It can be made into a liquid form, paste or a block.
VEGAN
DAIRY-FREE SPREAD
Dairy-Free Spread is a very good alternative to butter and dairy spreads. It can be used for cooking or baking. It has 75% less saturated fat than butter.
OAT MILK
Oat milk is made by straining a blender mixture of rolled oats and water. It is best strained through a clean towel or t-shirt. Oat milk is very low in calories and fat, but high in protein and has fiber.
ALMOND MILK
Almond milk is high in vitamin E and that makes it great for your skin. It is very low in fats. It has a nutty flavor and a creamy texture.
JAM
Jam is a product made of the whole fruit. It is a preserve made of fruit stewed in sugar. It is usually used as a spread and kept in glass jars.
FLAX EGG
A flax egg is made by mixing a tablespoon of ground flaxseed meal with about three tablespoons of water. By mixing together and letting it sit in the fridge for about 15 minutes it thickens and there is your flax egg.
APPLESAUCE
Applesauce is made of stewed apple pulp that is sweetened. It is a great substitute for butter or oil in all baked goods. It keeps things moist, tasty, and refreshingly sweet.

UNSWEETENED COCOA POWDER
It has a very intense chocolate flavour, therefore it is a staple for most bakers’ pantries. It is slightly acidic which can give it a bit of a harsh flavour.
GLUTEN FREE BAKING POWDER
To make a gluten free baking powder you have to combine a teaspoon of cream of tartar and a half teaspoon of bi-soda. Then mix that into one cup of gluten free plain flour.

This is a thick and creamy substance that is made by steeping shredded coconut hot coconut water combined with cream or milk and then cooled. It can be used as a thickening agent.

This is a natural sweetener, that has 97% less calories than natural sugar. It is fructose free, low carb and not bad for your teeth.
LACTOSE FREE
SELF RISING FLOUR
This is a mixture of all purpose flour, baking powder and salt. The ingredients have been distributed evenly through the flour.
POLENTA
This is a dish made of coarsely ground corn. When it’s cooked fresh it is creamy and soft. It originates from Italy.
EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
It is known for being the healthiest fat on earth. It is loaded with antioxidants and healthy fats. It has been known to have numerous health benefits.
MAPLE SYRUP
This syrup is usually made from the xylem sap of sugar maple, red maple, or black maple trees. It can also be made from other maple species.
FINELY GRATED ORANGE RIND
This gives off a strong citrusy aroma. So if we incorporate it into some recipes, it will add both fragrance and flavour.
ORANGE JUICE
This is a concentrated source of vitamin C. It has a very nice taste and can be used as an ingredient in baking or just drank alone.
PISTACHIO KERNELS

SUGAR FREE POWDERED SUGAR
If you sift or blend together ¾ cups of granular sucralose sweetener like Slenda or similar and 2 tablespoons cornstarch you will get sugar free powdered sugar.
ERYTHRITOL
Erythritol is actually a sugar alcohol. It is useful as a low-calorie sweetener. It provides about 5-6% of the calories in the same amount of sugar.
XANTHAN GUM POWDER
This is a quite popular food additive, and it is often used as a stabilizer or thickener.
DATE PASTE
Date paste is a healthy sugar substitute which is made entirely out of dates and water by a simple process.
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
Apple cider vinegar is mostly just apple juice, but if you add yeast, it turns the sugar in the juice into alcohol. It has a very sour taste.
KETO
FINE ALMOND FLOUR
This is a single ingredient, grain free, almond meal. It is made from skinless blanched almonds and nothing else.
DUTCH COCOA
Dutch cocoa has a different process of being made and therefore it is not as acidic as the traditional type. That makes it perfect for baking.
ESPRESSO POWDER
Espresso powder will intensify the chocolate flavour of your keto cake. This is not the same as instant coffee though. It is much more concentrated.
AVOCADO OIL
Avocado oil is perfect for keto cakes. Excellent source of antioxidants. It is rich in oleic acid and a very healthy fat.
CARROTS

You can use yogurt for many different cake ideas. Yogurt is a food produced by bacterial fermentation of the milk.
