* 2 dried shiitake mushrooms
* Cornstarch or potato starch
* 3g toasted white sesame seeds
* 3g dried osmanthus flower
* 1 tbsp sugar
* 3 tbsp water
* 1 tsp vegetarian oyster sauce
* 1 tbsp black vinegar
* 1/2 tsp white pepper
Directions:
1. Soak the mushrooms in water until soft, then marinate in some sugar, vegetarian oyster sauce, and white pepper for a day.
2. Remove the mushroom stems and with a scissor, cut the mushroom into a spiral and into long strips.
3. Dip the mushroom strips in cornstarch or potato starch and deep fry until golden and crisp.
4. In a heated pan, mix the water, black vinegar, vegetarian oyster sauce and sugar, add the fried mushroom strips and sprinkle some sesame seeds and dried osmanthus flowers.
5. Transfer onto a plate and sprinkle more sesame seeds and osmanthus flowers before serving.
