Add sugar and yeast to water then stir and set aside for 5 minutes 2. Combine flour and salt thoroughly 3. Mix dry and wet ingredients together and combine until a ball of dough is formed 4. Transfer dough on to a work surface and knead for 8 to 10 minutes 5. Place dough in a bowl then cover with a damp towel 6. Allow to proof for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until doubled in size **Sauce Ingredients** * 1 large onion finely chopped * 12 cloves garlic minced * 3 tbsp dried basil * 375 ml tomato paste * 375 ml water * 2 tbsp oil * salt & black pepper to taste **Sauce Directions** * Add oil to a pot then sauté onions for 2 minutes over medium heat * Add garlic then sauté for 1 minute * Add tomato paste, water and dried basil. * Season with salt and black pepper then combine well * Cover then allow to cook for at least 20 minutes **Gourmet Style Pizza Assembly** 1. Break off a portion of the dough, roughly the size of a tennis ball 2. Roll into a ball with your hands then place on a floured surface 3. Roll out dough to your preferred size and thickness 4. Place pizza dough on a hot frying pan and cook for approximately 90 seconds 5. Flip pizza dough over then cook top side for 20 seconds 6. Transfer to a baking sheet then apply 2 to 3 tbsp of pizza sauce 7. Top with your preferred cheese and toppings (drizzle olive oil and season veggie toppings with a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste) 8. Place baking tray directly under broiler at maximum heat for 3 -5 minutes. *(Keep an eye on it or it will burn)* 9. Remove from oven and allow to cool before enjoying.
