Also known as the CookieLab, the Sweeteasy will look like a typical Insomnia Cookies store in the front but will have a secret area that features all of the perks of the CookieLab. In the special area of the Sweeteasy guests will be able to create their own cookie combinations and over-the-top milkshakes as well as try new items from an exclusive menu. CookieLab also offers a variety of milk and dairy-free alternatives from the milk“bar” taps so that customers can wash down their creations.

Like any speakeasy, to get to the CookieLab you’ll have to be in the loop. You can access it from behind the bookshelf and will have to know the secret password to tell an Insomnia employee and get access. Every week, the official Insomnia Cookies Instagram account will post that week’s password and save it to their highlights.

The CookieLab is located at 833 Wharton Street in East Passyunk, South Philadelphia, right across from iconic cheesesteak eateries Pat’s and Geno’s. If you want to enjoy Insomnia’s offerings on the go, you can also order for contactless delivery and curbside pickup.
