Kourtney Kardashian is very adamant about watching her diet. She only believes in putting real food in her body, which has allowed her to maintain a healthy and youthful glow despite being the eldest Kardashian-Jenner sibling.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has gotten candid about what she eats over the years. However, she’s never been one to back down from a tasty treat. The Poosh founder just refined her original banana bread recipe to make it both gluten-free and vegan.

Kardashian’s diet goes well beyond simply being vegan. She adheres to a strictly organic, gluten-free, non- GMO, vegan, dairy-free, ketogenic diet. Though this might seem overwhelming for many of us, the mother-of-three has also expressed the importance of “cheat days.”
“A healthy lifestyle requires balance — allowing yourself to hit the snooze button when you really need it, skipping the gym for quality time with friends, and of course, cheat days,” she said in a May 2019 blog entry on Poosh. “Yes, indulging every once in a while is self-care. Whether you follow a strict diet or not, we all deserve days off. No guilt, and no boundaries.”
Kardashian also uses these rules for her three children, Mason, Penelope, and Reign. She has explained that when they travel or head to Disneyland they eat what they want.

Kourtney Kardashian’s gluten-free banana bread ingredients
In the past, Kardashian has shared a delicious banana bread recipe. However, as her own diet has shifted and evolved, she’s given the recipe a gluten-free update that involves one extra special ingredient.
Though bread often involves intricate recipes, the KUWTK star’s recipe is fairly quick and super easy. She shared the entire recipe on Poosh. For the ingredients you will need:
- 3 bananas
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon Earth Balance butter
- 1/2 cup vegan dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup apple sauce

With just seven ingredients, Kardashian’s approach to vegan baking and cooking is actually extremely stress-free. To begin preparing this decadent banana bread, measure all of the ingredients out and place them into one bowl.
It’s easier to mash the bananas with a fork first before adding everything else in. Next, place your well-mixed (but not overly mixed) dough into a baking dish. Bake at 325° F for 20 minutes. To test to see if the banana bread is done, you can make sure a knife or a toothpick comes out of the middle of the dough clean.

- 4 organic overripe bananas
- 1 cup organic coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup melted organic coconut oil
- 3/4 cups organic blanched almond flour
