Lorraine Kelly has revealed to fans and followers on Instagram that she can’t actually cook, so don’t expect to see her on Celebrity Bake-Off or Masterchef any time soon!
While food lover Lorraine is always up for trying what chefs cook up on her show, she admits that she’s much of a cook herself. Which is why she’s somewhat surprised that her daughter Rosie is a real whizz in the kitchen.
Sharing a delicious looking stack of green pancakes whipped up by her daughter, Lorraine told fans and followers on Instagram: “Constantly baffled as to where @rosiekellysmith gets her cooking skills – my limit is beans on toast!”

While beans on toast isn’t the most glamorous of specialities, it’s a great British classic and can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner. At least if Lorraine ever gets stuck alone with no other way to get food, she’ll be able to cook three meals a day?
In Rosie’s original post she credited the recipe maker for the brilliantly hued breakfast, telling followers: “Find myself still thinking about these crazy green pancakes even at dinner 🥞 Another fave from @thermomixukandireland”
We love seeing these two interact on social media, and can’t wait for the podcast they announced earlier this week.

What If? will see the pair interview celebrity guests about the life changing decisions and major turning points in their life, and with Lorraine’s little black book… we can’t wait to see who they get involved.
And don’t worry about the cooking Lorraine; you can’t be brilliant at everything.
