The New York-based cookie company, Chip City, is opening an outpost in the Mile Square on Washington Street. The popular brand has five locations throughout New York, plus its food truck. Although Chip City will soon be launching regional shipping, locals don’t have to hop on the train or order delivery to dig into the gooey cookies because the new storefront is located on first and Washington Street, located at the former Imago Beauty spot at 113 Washington Street. Read on to learn what we know about the opening of Chip City in Hoboken.
About Chip City
^A Chip City creation — The Baklava Cookie
Chip City has been around for the last couple of years, quickly expanding throughout New York’s boroughs including Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Astoria, Queens. It also has a loyal Instagram following of 140K people.
The brand prides itself on its unique flavors. The website states, “Our Rainbow Cookie that comes along once in a blue moon brings hordes of fans that nearly need professional crowd control. The Baklava Cookie is the first time the classic dessert was made into cookie form.”

There’s also an ‘Everything Bagel’ cookie, with savory seasoning and sweet cream cheese filling — which is definitely worth writing home about.
The cookie company offers over 30 flavors of cookies ranging from classics like chocolate chip to cutting-edge concepts like the signature s’mores flavor. Other popular flavors include glazed pear, red velvet cheesecake, white chocolate, snickerdoodle, butterscotch toffee, and cookies + cream. Patrons can also find holiday-themed cookies for Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day, Thanksgiving, and more.
So, who comes up with these flavors? Each recipe is the brainchild of Executive Chef Andrea, according to the website. “She goes through dozens of iterations for each flavor, using only the highest quality ingredients.”
The weight of the cookies is also notable, weighing almost 6 oz each. Chip City offers individually ships packages of either baked or frozen cookies. Additionally, Chip City also sells coffee, and has a Chip City food {cookie!} truck available for all events, serving warm cookies to guests.
