New Recipe: Tricolour Eggless Fruit Cake | Republic Day Special Recipe | Homemade Cakes


This Republic Day we bring you homemade tricolor eggless fruit cake which is super easy to bake in the comfort of your kitchen. Do make it for your loved ones & make this Republic Day even more special!


1 cup Powdered Sugar
½ cup Oil
1 cup Curd
1 ½ cup All Purpose Flour, maida
2 tbsp Custard Powder
¼ tsp Salt
½ tsp Baking Soda
1 ½ tsp Baking Powder
¼ cup Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 cup Buttercream Icing, pre- prepared
1 Orange, peeled & de-skinned wedges
1 Kiwi, peeled & sliced
1 Apple, peeled & sliced


In a bowl add, powdered sugar, oil & whisk it well till sugar melts.
Add vanilla essence, curd & whisk again.
Sieve all the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Now mix well with a spatula using the cut and fold method.
Add milk as required to get a smooth batter with a semi thick consistency as shown in the video.
Now take a cake tin grease it with oil, place a parchment paper on it and aain grease it with oil. You cake tin is ready.
Now pour the batter into the cake tin and dab it 2- 3times to remove excess air if any.
Bake it in a preheated oven of 180°C for 30 to 35 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let it rest in the pan until it has cooled down completely.
Once cooled de-mould the cake gently on a serving tray and frost it with the prepared buttercream frosting
Garnish with the fruit slices as shown and serve it.
