Steamed chicken with mushrooms is a low-effort dish that is very delicious and healthy. The chicken is super tender and juicy, the Shiitake mushrooms are fragrant and soft, and the soy sauce based marinade adds a hint of sourness and sweetness. The sauce is very similar to the one that is used in the Chinese steamed fish recipe, if you like that dish, you’ll definitely enjoy this one.
1. Pat dry the chicken and cut it into 1-inch cubes. Marinate the chicken for 30 min.
2. Slice the mushrooms and the red pepper. Chop the green onions.
3. Place the meat, mushrooms and red pepper in a plate. Steam for 10 min.
4. Garnish with some green onions. Enjoy!
