What I like best about the Wilton Perfect Results Premium 9-Inch Fluted Tube Pan is the pan has a non-stick coating on its interior… and… that coating doesn’t seem to have been applied too thickly. It allows you to add fat to the pan without having to use excessive amounts of oil or butter. Which is nice. Especially in these difficult times, when so many people are trying to cut back on their fat intake.
I realize “excessive” is relative. But if I were on a desert island with only one pan to use for 12 months, I’d sure hope it was this one. This pan is constructed very well. It has an incredibly thick bottom (to prevent warping), a sturdy handle, and a very thin top. All of which makes it easy to remove the cooked food from the pan. No need for a metal spatula or anything like that. Just give the pan a sharp twist and the whole thing comes apart like it was made of plastic. This pan has three levels of non-stick. The first level is a thin coating on the interior of the pan. The second level is a thicker coating on the interior of the pan. And the third level is a thick coating on the exterior of the pan.
